Internet Income Jamaica’s CEO, Alicia Lyttle was recently invited as a panelist to discuss ‘Careers and Academia’ as a feature on CVM TV LIVE’s Lifestyle and Entertainment segment.
Lyttle took the opportunity to detail the company’s partnership with the The N.C.B. Foundation for the highly-anticipated Level Up Grant Programme.
Under this initiative, Internet Income Jamaica will provide Jamaicans who have lost jobs due to COVID-19, free training in a suite of their coveted online courses. The wide range of online courses include web design, SEO optimization, virtual assistant, graphic design, social media management, voice-overs, and transcription.
According to Lyttle, the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 has provided immense opportunities for Jamaicans to improve skills and gain more knowledge. Participants in the Level Up Programme will be able to take those skills learned and turn them into online businesses.
Program participants were required to fill in an application along with a one hundred word (100) essay about why they should get this opportunity. Once accepted, they are taken through an 8-week training module teaches them step-by-step how to create a profitable online business. Participants will also gain access to online entrepreneurship support groups that will offer tips and advice in ensuring their businesses remain profitable.
If you are not sure what you can do online to make money, Internet Income Jamaica can help. The company has been successfully teaching Jamaicans how to start online businesses since 2010. Trainees are first guided into assessing their current skills and then taught how to translate them to online employment opportunities.
Today is the best time to start creating the future you have always wanted. A future where you can better provide for your family and have financial freedom. It’s time to level up.
