Internet Income Jamaica Empowers Women and Girls to Succeed in the Digital Economy
A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor to speak at the International Girls in ICT Day Virtual Event presented by CARICOM Girls in ICT Partnership & RSC International.
During the event, I had the pleasure of sharing my thoughts on how digital skills are the keys to online entrepreneurship. I emphasized the importance of teaching women and girls how to leverage the global economy by starting an online business using their digital skills. I also showcased several of our students and the amazing success they are having in the online world.
I spoke about the incredible success we have had at our company, Internet Income Jamaica, and how we have now shifted our focus to the advancement of artificial intelligence. Specifically, I highlighted how the tools available, such as ChatGPT and Midjourney, can serve as foundational tools for women.
The importance of digital skills in today’s world cannot be overstated. As we move forward into a future where technology plays an ever-increasing role in our lives, the ability to navigate and master digital tools is essential. Moreover, the growth of online entrepreneurship means that having digital skills can be the difference between struggling to make ends meet and thriving in a global marketplace.
That’s why I am so passionate about teaching women and girls the digital skills they need to succeed. By giving them the tools to start their own online businesses and take advantage of the global economy, we are empowering them to take control of their financial futures and build a better world for themselves and their families.
Overall, International Girls in ICT Day was an incredible event, and I am honored to have been a part of it. I look forward to continuing to spread the message about the importance of digital skills and online entrepreneurship and working with amazing AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney to help women around the world build better lives for themselves and their communities.
